Matrix

I have to say that I had never seen the Matrix movie since; I do not like fiction movies. However, this movie makes me think different because when I was watching the movie I was thinking about what the Dr: Smith said:” if we live in the Matrix”. I deduce that in the Matrix, the search and questions are for the truth about our own existence, we see that we are here on earth, but what is the role we are doing on earth. The whole movie symbolizes a path of life which most of us have come across once, or twice. Neo is our guide through this movie. As a child did you ever think that your life was just a dream? When I was watching the movie I asked myself, what is the Matrix? Well it can be perceived as anything that someone wants. As I saw, the Matrix is the artificial mind; it is the black slate in which we can program what we want. The Matrix installs the ideas, emotions, and sense that we think are real. And I say what is real? How someone can tell you it is real? In fact, Thomas Anderson a computer hacker, become the chose one, he has been picked by Morpheus, who is the guide to the truth for all. Thomas Anderson name is changed to Neo; he has to face a decision to die for all. This is similar to Christ dying for us. The other character is Trinity who is a follower of Morpheus symbolizes the Holy Spirit. She is able to incorporate herself into Neo when he is on his death. The Matrix emphasizes the use of machines as programs of motion for humans. Neo is programmed to be fast fighter. He tries to use his mind to control his actions, then he realizes that is not his mind controlling him, it is machine. He has no way to distinguishing between dream, and reality. Therefore, he questioned everything. This movie makes me think that how are we to know that our senses are not programmed? I think that you can never have a full understanding of life without feeling, seeing, testing, etc. In my opinion, the movie is basically saying that you should never accept what somebody says. Our existence is meant to be challenged, and our mind has to be expanded. For last, I want to say that every human should look a child, and admire him or her because it is the one who is closest to reality.

You are so right.
As a child I use to think my life was all a dream and that I would one day wake up and just know everything, but as I grow older I just accepted the fact that this was my real life and nothing was going to change. We all should definitely expand our mind and take more of an appreciation to children even if we might think their ideas are silly because in reality they sometimes do make valid points.

I also agree. There are lots of religion aspects throughout the film. I enjoyed reading the end of the blog and I can agree with you: Children are the closest to reality. They are the ones who take time to observe and apperciate the small things we take for granted on a daily basis.
Good job! =]
